Peace, Love, Great Futures Summer Camp

Week 1: June 3-7

Culture Week: Around the World

  • Around the World in 5 Days - It's ambitious, but our Clubs will discover what makes different regions of our world unique, all in 5 days! From cooking to games and everything in between, this week is centered around cultural awareness as we fill our Club passports

Week 2: June 10-14

Nature Week: Outdoor Adventures

  • Club members will find their spirit for adventure as they explore the natural environment and our local parks and trails. Members will gain confidence and comfort being outdoors while having an exciting time and staying active.
  • Busch Memorial Conservation Area & Nature Center field trip

Week 3: June 17-21

Art Week: Artrageous!

  • Jump into this exploration of different art forms and how they allow us to uniquely express our thoughts, feelings, and messages. Dance, paint, and sing your way through this world sharing who you are and what you have to say!

Week 4: June 24–28

Boys & Girls Club Spirit Week: Go Big Blue!

  • We bleed blue at Boys & Girls Clubs, and we want everyone to know. Daily crazy themes, special outings, and a BGC Blue Day will allow us to embrace what it means to be a Club kid. Activities will focus on healthy habits, leadership, and teamwork.
  • BGC Blue Barbecue to celebrate the 4th of July and National Boys & Girls Club Week.

Week 5: July 8–12

Water Week: Splash Bash

  • SPLISH SPLASH back into summer camp with water week. Club members will get to dive into summer fun with water days, water science experiments, and different activities exploring everything that is found in and around or is impacted by water.
  • Fire Truck Water Day, Pool Day

Week 6: July 15–19

STEM Week: Sci-Fi Exploration

  • Science, technology, engineering, and math all together in each activity to make learning challenging and fun! Members will make chemical reactions, play brain games, and more! Each day they will create and observe how all the STEM components work together.
  • Science Center field trip, St. Louis Magic House field trip.

Week 7: July 22-26

Youth for Unity Week: Leadership for Change

  • Our local leaders will visit each Club to engage in interactive activities that help us understand how community organizations keep us safe and healthy. Club Youth will be empowered to make meaningful change in their own community
  • Firefighters, Law Enforcement, and other Community Leaders visit the Clubs.

Week 8: July 29-August 2

Health Week: Mind, Body, Soul

  • Building Great Futures means building a strong foundation of healthy habits. Join us as we cook, run, play, eat, and learn about how our bodies move and what we can do to keep them strong – mentally, physically, and emotionally.
  • HealthWorks! Kids' Museum St. Louis field trip.

Week 9: August 5-9

Career Week: When I Grow Up

  • During this week, the Club will introduce future young professionals to the world of different occupations. Through an age-based mix of activities, we will explore various career paths to broaden horizons and lay the foundation for a Great Future.
2024 Summer Camp Flyer

$135 per week for the first child, $115 per week for each additional child.
Daily meals, special events, and field trips are included in this cost.

    • Weekly auto-pay payments are processed the MONDAY BEFORE the week your child attends.
    • Weekly payments are due the THURSDAY BEFORE the week your child attends.
    • Weekly payments not received by the FRIDAY BEFORE the week your child attends will incur a $10.00 late fee.
    • Weekly payments not completed by Monday the same week your child attends will be assessed at a $50 late fee.
    • Summer camp weekly rates are in addition to the $35.00 annual membership fee.
    • The daily rate is $35 per child per day. Children who attend on a daily rate cannot attend field trips.
    • Open Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM daily. Late fees apply for late pick-ups. Refer to the Parent Member Handbook for full details.
