Branson, MO, September 19, 2023 - A long-time board member and advocate of Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County (BGCSTC), Rudy Beck, was inducted into Boys & Girls Club’s Missouri Area Council Hall of Fame on September 19, 2023, in Branson, Missouri. Beck was among 4 new members enshrined into the Hall of Fame for their achievements, including Bob Cissell of BGCSTC.

The Boys & Girls Clubs Area Council Hall of Fame honors those rare individuals whose high achievements have made a mark in their local Club and have impacted the Missouri Area Council of Boys & Girls Clubs. The four individuals honored have shaped and inspired local Clubs in Missouri. Hall of Fame honorees have achieved the distinction of being true champions for children and have provided innumerable accomplishments and lasting impact.

Beck's time on the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County (BGCSTC) Board of Directors spanned an impressive 43 years. As part of the board, Beck served as Vice-President and President of the board. In these influential roles, Beck helped guide the organization toward innovation, inclusivity, and continued growth. During his tenure, Beck actively served on the governance committee, ensuring sound decision-making and strategic planning for the Club's growth and impact. Additionally, his presence on executive committees allowed him to guide the Club toward innovation and excellence, constantly seeking ways to better serve youth. Rudy played a pivotal role as a member of the Capital Campaign Committee in orchestrating successful capital campaigns for two BGCSTC Club Units, securing crucial funding to enrich Club programs and facilities. Currently, Beck maintains membership in the Cornerstone Group, a BGCSTC Board alumni group, he helped to create.
